It boasts the biggest cast of celebrities ever assembled for an Australian reality series including PR queen Roxy Jacenko and Ironwoman Candice Warner.
And after Channel Seven was forced to suspend production of SAS: Who Dares Wins earlier this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Daily Telegraph revealed on Thursday it’s about to start filming again.
The unusual series is a remake of a hit British show and will put the celebrities through their paces as they attempt to pass the selection process to join the Australian Army’s elite Special Air Service.
Good news for Roxy! On Thursday, The Daily Telegraph reported that production was set to recommence on Roxy Jacenko (pictured) and Candice Warner’s new military-style reality show SAS: Who Dares Wins after it was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic
Filming had begun earlier this year in Queenstown, New Zealand, however, it is set to resume around Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, NSW, due to strict international travel restrictions that are still in place due to the health crisis.
The publication also revealed several new stars who are set to appear including former Miss Universe Australia Erin McNaught, Biggest Loser trainer Shannan Ponton and cricketer Shane Warne’s hunky son Jackson.
They further revealed that while retired athlete Jana Pittman began filming in NZ, she has since pulled out due to being pregnant with her fourth child.
