Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power said she and Mick Gould faked scenes

The proof that Married At First Sight is FAKE: Jessika Power claims producers urged her to ‘string Mick Gould along’ and admits to staging fights for the cameras to stay on the show

There’s no shortage of drama in front of the cameras on Married At First Sight, and it appears that there’s even more going on behind the scenes.

In a new interview, season six villain Jessika Power has claimed that not everything viewers saw on TV was true to reality.

During an appearance on Isolation TV, the 28-year-old said that both she and husband Mick Gould wanted to quit the show after their wedding, but were urged by producers to stay.

Bombshell: Former Married At First Sight bride Jessika Power has made explosive allegations about how ‘fake’ the popular reality show is

‘[Producers] had already seen my personality and they knew that it was going to make a good show,’ she explained.

Jessika then claimed that her producer told her she needed ‘to do everything in her power to keep [Mick] there because we have something bigger set up for later on.’

The ‘something bigger’ turned out to be Dan Webb, who conveniently happened to be everything Jessika had asked for in a husband during the matching process.

The vixen admitted to playing along with the storyline in order to keep Mick on the show longer.

‘I had to just completely submit to Mick and let him be the man and let him feel empowered because they needed me to keep him there,’ she confessed.

Jessika then claimed that both she and Mick had to ‘re-enact a fight’ they’d had off camera for the show.

‘Halfway through me trying to do it I just got up and said, “I can’t do this. I can’t be fake on camera”,’ she said.

Planned: Jessika claimed that her eventual coupling up with another contestant, Dan Webb was set up.

Once Dan entered the experiment, he and Jessika had an ‘affair’ which went on to become the biggest and most controversial storyline of the season.

Jessika also revealed that producers had allowed her to drink spirits at the dinner parties to ensure that she’d be unfiltered and cause drama.

‘Everyone used to get cut off [from drinking], but I tend to blow my top after [drinking] darker spirits. I was the only one that was allowed to drink rum,’ she said.

Meanwhile, Jessika has reunited with her ex-boyfriend James Brown after they split last month.

Jessika shared a photo to Instagram on Wednesday of herself with her ex, and insisted they were still friends.

‘No matter what, this big goof will still be in my life and we will always have one another’s backs. The respect and love has never faded and he’s always going to be my best friend,’ she captioned the pic.
