MAFS’ Amanda Micallef threatens SUICIDE over Melbourne’s mask rules as she spreads COVID conspiracy

Married At First Sight star Amanda Micallef has threatened suicide over following through with Melbourne’s mandatory mask rules which came into effect overnight.

In a shock post shared to her Instagram on Thursday, the 34-year-old conspiracy theorist disturbingly told her followers she would ‘rather shoot herself in the face than wear a mask.’

Amanda defiantly added that she ‘refused to strip her identity for a fake agenda’ – despite the state of Victoria recording its third worst day during the pandemic with 403 new COVID-19 cases hours earlier.

In bold letters, Amanda concluded that she ‘did not consent.’

Her controversial views accompanied a sultry selfie in which she was clad in a caged lace black bra.

Proudly highlighting her mask-free appearance, Amanda rested her inked hand on her chin.

It wasn’t long before the brunette was blasted for her ‘uneducated’, ‘disappointing’ and ‘selfish’ post.

Her former MAFS co-star Carly Bowyer rightfully expressed her concerns, telling Amanda: ‘As your friend, I’m sorry to hear you think this way. But this isn’t about identity, it’s about doing our bit to stop the spread of this virus.

‘It’s not just about you, it’s about protecting others. I’m pregnant and my partner is immune compromised, so what about us?

I don’t like wearing a mask either, but if it means it will help in any way, then why not do it?

‘I don’t know about you, but I just want my normal life back. I don’t want to see so many millions of Victorians suffering mentally, emotionally, physically and financially anymore. Let’s just kick this virus to the curb as quick as we can! Everyone just needs to do their bit. We can do this!!’

One follower commented: ‘Super disappointing and selfish. Wearing a mask is not about you, it’s about keeping others safe around you. Stop playing the oppression card, it’s not a cute look.’

Another added: ‘Maybe you should take a visit of the hospitals and witness the people fighting for their lives with this virus. Really disappointed in this post on so many levels.’

Someone else also noted: ‘You won’t be saying that when one of your friends or relatives gets corona.’

Another frustrated Victoria resident explained: ‘I don’t think any of us are over joyed about having to wear a mask but it’s not forever and even if there is the slightest chance it helps get life back to some kind of normal – especially for industries like mine that can’t work I’m doing it!’

Victoria’s mandatory mask order for the Melbourne metropolitan area and the Mitchell Shire came into place overnight.

On Thursday morning, the state reportedly recorded 403 new coronavirus cases on Thursday – the state’s third worst day during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The number of new cases reported by The Australian trails only Wednesday’s record figure of 484 cases and the 428 infections confirmed by Premier Daniel Andrews last Friday.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Amanda has shared her bizarre views on the COVID-19 crisis.

In April, Amanda said she believes the pandemic is just part of a conspiracy to ‘cover up’ a much larger agenda.

She also made numerous posts in the ‘Stop5G Victoria’ Facebook group, which is opposed to the 5G network over health concerns about radiation.

There is no scientific evidence linking 5G technology to the coronavirus pandemic.

‘For those of you who don’t know who I am, I’m Amanda from MAFS 2020. I’m ready to put my rep on the line because I’m sick and tired of house arrest and ready to protest! WHO’S IN?’ read her first post in the group.

‘Im talking camera crews, journos, hundreds of people [sic]! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH THEY CAN’T LOCK US LIKE THIS WHEN WE KNOW THEIR AGENDA. Any ideas on where to protest would be great.’

The personal trainer also urged people to defy the government’s coronavirus lockdown and social distancing rules by staging public protests.

Amanda joins the likes of controversial chef Pete Evans and folk singer Ziggy Alberts in using their celebrity platforms to share dangerous and misleading advice about the COVID-19 pandemic.
