Viewers rage at Big Brother’s ‘incredibly boring’ grand finale

‘Even the disaster that Kyle and Jackie O hosted was more interesting than this!’ Viewers rage at Big Brother’s ‘incredibly boring’ grand finale and demand Channel Seven return to the show’s live format next year

Big Brother Australia was trending on Twitter during Wednesday night’s live finale episode, but not for the right reasons.

In a series of tweets, fans expressed outrage over it being ‘boring’, even going so far as to call Channel Seven’s rebooted 2020 series the ‘worst season ever’.

Viewers were also perplexed by the lack of drama played out on the night, and why every housemate didn’t get a chance to address their time on the show.

‘I would rather watch Kieran eat a bucket of KFC’: On Wednesday, viewers raged at Big Brother’s ‘BORING’ grand finale and demanded Channel Seven relaunch the show’s live format next year

‘This really is incredibly boring and kinda terrible,’ one viewer wrote while tuning in to the finale.

‘I’d rather watch Kieran eating a bucket of KFC than go through this yawn fest,’ quipped a second.

While other viewers described the live finale as ‘messy’ and ’embarrassing’ to watch making it ‘the most boring episode of the season’.

‘Even the grand final disaster that Kyle and Jackie O hosted was more interesting than this one,’ added another .

The grand finale saw the majority of the housemates reunited in front of a small audience at a Sydney studio.

However, the show appeared to be focused on the happier times in the house, failing to address all the drama and backstabbing on the show.

For the first time in Big Brother Australia history, this year’s series was pre-recorded and only the grand finale and winner announcement was broadcast live.
