Jennifer Lopez is left red-faced and stranded in the Hamptons as her dune buggy gets towed away for not having a parking permit

It was meant to be a fun family day out at the beach in the Hamptons.

But Jennifer Lopez learned the hard way that beach parking comes at a premium in the upscale area.

The songstress was left red-faced on Tuesday when she arrived in her dune buggy at Mecox Beach in Bridgehampton and parked up without realizing – or simply ignoring – the parking restrictions.

Awkward: Jennifer Lopez parked near the beach in the Hamptons on Tuesday only to have her vehicle towed because she didn’t have a permit

Lopez was followed by her entourage in two more dune buggies and they all allegedly drove straight past the parking attendants who were checking permits and parked up to access the pristine sandy coastline.

Following the clear parking violation, according to eyewitnesses, the police were called and a tow truck came to tow the buggies away.

Finding herself stranded at the beach with no vehicle, J.Lo then had to call a friend who came to pick up the megastar in fiance Alex Rodriguez’s Ford Bronco.

Lopez was seen furiously texting on her phone as her kids Emme and Max stood next to her looking concerned.

The Bronx born beauty looked ready for fun in the sun, wearing some denim cutoffs over a white swimsuit.

The 50-year-old actress also came prepared as she carried a tote bag holding some beach toys.

When their ride arrived the trio were seen hopping in the Bronco and heading to the tow yard to pick up their impounded vehicles.

Meanwhile, Lopez and A-Rod announced their new joint venture last week – a partnership with telemedicine company Hims & Hers.

The couple said that they decided to partner with the telemedicine company in order to make self-care accessible for underserved communities.

‘We’re always focused on providing for people who grew up the way we did,’ Jennifer told People magazine.

She continued: ‘We feel like now we’re in a different kind of privilege and our kids are growing up differently, but we remember what it was to grow up not being able to afford decent care.’
