Charlize Theron covers up in a chic black jumpsuit and face mask while shopping for flowers

She recently revealed that she had to undergo three surgeries after filming her latest release The Old Guard. 

But Charlize Theron seemed to be recovered and in good spirits as she went shopping in Los Angeles on Tuesday. 

The 44-year-old actress covered up in a chic black jumpsuit while running errands and shopping for flowers.  

The actresses’ one piece, button-up, ensemble featured straight legs falling above her ankles. 

She teamed it with slide-on black sandals with bedazzled straps, and a crossbody black leather bag. 

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to see rising numbers across the country, and impending second safer-at-home order for LA, she was sure to wear PPE. 

Most of her famous face was covered in black cat-eye sunglasses and a light colored face mask. 

She left the store with bags of groceries and bundles of the flowers. 

On Saturday, Charlize told Stellar Magazine that she required surgery after doing her own stunts on the set of her new Netflix film The Old Guard. 

The actress injured her hand, leaving it numb – but with five weeks of filming left, she had to carry on, and didn’t realize how badly she was hurt until filming was over. 

She revealed: ‘It was absolutely impossible for me to investigate how bad the injury was. So I fought through.’ 

She added: ‘I had do to an entire fight over five days with a thumb that was torn off the bone.’ 

Charlize also pinched a nerve in her elbow, and had to film scenes in which she rode a horse while unable to properly use her hand.  

‘I basically lost all control of my hand. [I was] shooting all this stuff riding a horse with a hand that had no function in it. 

‘It wasn’t until I was done with the film that I realized I needed three surgeries,’ she told the magazine. 

A fan of doing her own stunts, the star also badly injured herself on the set of action film Aeon Flux in 2005.
