He was a fan favourite on MasterChef Australia this year.

And despite not winning the show, dessert king Reynold Poernomo revealed that he’s ‘in talks’ with Channel 10 about his very own series.

Speaking on The Project on Monday night before the Back to Win finale, Reynold, 26, said that fans will have to wait and see what happens.

‘We need to see the Reynold dessert show as a stand (alone) show on Channel 10, with you starring in the front. What about that?’ The Project host Steve Price asked Reynold.

Reynold then said: ‘We’re actually in talks but we’ll see what happens, we’ll see.’

He was then probed about who he thinks will win MasterChef Australia, and played coy, saying: ‘I definitely won’t have my show if I spoil anything!’

Despite making it to the top three, Reynold was sadly eliminated in Sunday night’s episode of MasterChef.

His elimination left Emelia Jackson and Laura Sharrad to battle it out in the kitchen during Monday’s grand finale.

MasterChef: Back to Win finished on Monday night as Emelia was crowned winner and took home a whopping $250,000.

Laura Sharrad came runner-up and pocketed $30,000.

Emelia was elated, crying out, ‘Are you serious? Are you serious?’ over and over in delight.

‘I just can’t believe it. It’s been the most special experience of my life and I owe it all to the three of you,’ she said, pointing to judges Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo, before paying homage to her competitor: ‘And I owe it to this little lady.

‘Being able to reconnect with Laura after so many years has been just magic for me. She’s just incredible. She’s just… so amazing.’
