She said: ‘He is a charmer, I’ll give him that! Him and all the others are celebrities, I am trying to get used to it! I don’t feel like a celebrity, it’s just so weird!’

A source told the publication the pair are ‘growing closer’ during filming for the E4 reality series.

The new show, a spin-off of Celebs Go Dating, will follow stars as they attempt to date either online from home or during socially-distanced meetups amid the coronavirus lockdown.

Sarah Tyekiff, Head of Unscripted Content for Lime Pictures, said of the new spin-off show: ‘We are so excited to bring Celebs Go Virtual Dating to people’s screens.

‘It’s a really interesting time to see how everyone is dating during lockdown and our brave celebs are going to let us in on how they are doing it all wrapped up with the hilarious voiceover magic of Rob Beckett.’

Other stars taking part in the series include Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry and rugby player Levi Davis.

It comes after a source told The Sun that Shaughna was hoping to find a ‘hot lad’ on the series after her relationship with Callum Jones on Love Island didn’t work out.

They said: ‘Anyone who’s seen Shaughna on Love Island knows she’s hilarious but she needs help in the dating department.

‘She’s hoping the agency can work some magic and set her up with a hot lad who won’t pie her off on national telly.’
