Big Brother’s Talia Rycroft hits out at the show for failing to show ‘friendships and personality’

Big Brother’s Talia Rycroft slams the show’s editing and says producers need to depict more ‘friendships and personality’ so that viewers can know the cast better

Big Brother’s Talia Rycroft has urged the show to focus more on the ‘friendships and personalities’ of the people in the house.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, the 22-year-old reality star used a catch up with her fellow housemate Xavier Molyneux to draw attention to show’s relationships.

Referring to herself and Xavier, 23, as ‘Ken and Barbie’, Talia slammed the show’s editing, claiming they neglected to show the real dynamics of the housemates.

According to a report by Woman’s Day magazine last month, several of the show’s housemates started a top-secret WhatsApp group to vent about how they were being portrayed.

The publication claimed that some of the 20 housemates were not impressed by their edits, and were even threatening to boycott the series.

‘They’re shocked none of their softer moments or team bonding is shown,’ said an anonymous source.

Xavier, who was rarely shown on television, even joked about his absence onscreen in several Instagram posts.

Meanwhile, Talia told Daily Mail Australia at the time of her elimination that she was unhappy with the ‘unfair editing’.

She claimed that some of her co-stars agreed her portrayal as a villain was ‘fake’ and ‘highly edited’.
