She continued: ‘We feel like now we’re in a different kind of privilege and our kids are growing up differently, but we remember what it was to grow up not being able to afford decent care.’

Individuals can make tele appointments on the site, which has over 200 licensed physicians and nurse practitioners around the US.

Appointments start at $39 and includes the cost of medication if necessary, with the goal to be available for all.

According to the outlet, the providers are not only authorized to diagnose illnesses but are also able to fill prescriptions for things like urinary tract infections and asthma to name a few.

Jennifer said: ‘We saw it as a company that was offering a modern approach to health and wellness in a way that was responsible and accessible. It’s so great to be a part of,’ to People.

Alex added that ‘it facilitates things that can be very challenging, whether that’s embarrassing issues, or going to the pharmacy and waiting on-line.’

‘We really believe in [co-founder] Jack Abraham and [CEO] Andrew Dudum’s vision, the ability to execute. Anybody can have a good idea. Not too many people can execute at the level,’ Alex said to People.

‘It’s serving 100% of the population. That’s always important to me,’ Jennifer said.
