Gogglebox star Isabelle Silbery reveals she’s engaged to new boyfriend Alex Richards after the couple decided to spend lockdown living together
Life in lockdown is going great for Isabelle Silbery, with the Gogglebox star revealing she’s engaged to her new boyfriend, Alex Richards.
The 34-year-old reality star announced the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, sharing a love-up photo of herself cupping her beau’s face and showing off her ring.
‘This happened… and I said yes. To a man who truly sees me, understands me & loves me for all my idiosyncrasies,’ she wrote.

Isabelle also shared a video of herself and Alex breaking the news to her beloved grandmother, Emmie, on Monday.
In the video, she explained that Alex had given her a ring his mother had given him when he turned 18, instead of the typical diamond engagement ring.
She referenced the sentimental silver band in her announcement post.

Isabelle revealed Alex proposed ‘on the couch’ at home, after they moved in together during lockdown back in March.

Isabelle announced her split from her longtime boyfriend Luke Gordon in late January, revealing they’d broken up ‘before Christmas’.
‘Letting him go has hit me hard,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time.
In March, she moved in with Alex, and wrote about their experience living together so early on in their relationship in an editorial for Kidspot at the time.
