‘The last season of Gogglebox hit our screens just as we were all forced into lockdown,’ said Lifestyle’s group general manager, Wendy Moore.

‘Sharing this strange experience with our favourite families as we watched the world change day by day was a really powerful experience, loved by more people than ever before.

‘It’s like a balm that instantly connects you to the rest of humanity, and I know the Lifestyle audience is hungry for another season to start.’

Since last appearing on TV, Gogglebox favourites Matty and Sarah Marie have been keeping busy renovating their new home.

After welcoming son Malik late last year, the couple moved into a $1.1million property in Kingsgrove, southern Sydney, in April.

The pair have given the 1960s three-bedroom home a stunning modern makeover.

Matty and Sarah Marie both posted photos to Instagram last month, showing how they’d transformed the tired brick facade into a chic Hamptons-style home.

‘It’s crazy what you can do with some paint,’ Matty said at the time.

‘This was not DIY; we chose to get the experts to do the work here. I would not back my painting skills or my patience for a job this big!’
