Dax Shepard shared an adorable family photo while wishing his wife Kristen Bell a very happy 40th birthday.
The 45-year-old actor took to Instagram on Saturday, sharing a photo of himself and Bell, who was holding one of their two daughters, whose face was blocked by a blue heart.
Bell herself also shared some of her birthday festivities on Instagram, including a video where she expressed gratitude to everyone who celebrated with them.

‘Thank you for this suspiciously great life you’ve made for us,’ he added, along with five heart emojis.
Shepard was shirtless with tan shorts while Bell was wearing a grey tank top while holding one of her kids.

Later that night, Bell shared a video where she collected her thoughts on her day-long birthday celebration.
‘Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes,’ she began in the post’s caption. ‘I’m so happy to be alive and 40, and surrounded by the pod I love.’
She added that she’ll be donating to Immigrant Families Together, an organization dedicated to ‘reuniting and supporting families separated at the US/Mexico border.’

She also thanked her husband Shepard and Monica Padman, ‘for a perfect day,’ before sharing more in the video.
‘Well, we just wrapped up what I would say is the perfect 40th birthday party, which consisted of my friends and family that are in our pod right now, eating great food from a local restaurant, sitting on our porch, watching the kids play, and basically playing cards all afternoon,’ she began.
‘It was pretty perfect. As I grow older, I really don’t have any interest in buying anything other than piece of mind, so this year, to buy myself some of that, I will be donating to Immigrant Families Together,’ she continued.

‘Thank you for the beautiful hikes, the river swimming and the boarder line heat stroke. Our pod is grateful for the beauty this country has to offer,’ she said.
Bell added that her husband Shepard was sent to Sedona to work on ‘the very safe set of’ Top Gear America, and that they, ‘decided to follow him for a fun family road trip.’
She added they were, ‘extra cautious the whole time and only took our masks off when we were secluded.’
