Tamar Braxton in ‘stable condition’ as sis Toni arrives at hospital after possible suicide attempt

Tamar Braxton is reportedly in ‘stable’ condition after being found unresponsive in her hotel room in Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday evening.

According to The Blast, Braxton is currently being ‘held under 24-hour watch’ at a hospital in the Los Angeles area. 

Braxton’s older sister Toni, 52, was seen arriving to the hospital on Thursday night, following the 43-year-old reality star’s possible suicide attempt.

Toni met up with Tamar’s boyfriend David Adefeso who has reportedly ‘been by [Tamar’s] side the entire time.’

David had his cellphone pressed to his ear and a face mask on as he conversed with Toni, who also concealed the majority of her face with a mask.

Toni donned a black hoodie, black sweat pants, a pair of sunglasses, and high heels as she walked around the outside of the hospital with David.

She had her cellphone in her hand and began gesturing at one point as paramedics stood off to the side. 

David and Toni, eventually, moved closer to what appeared to be the entrance of the hospital’s emergency wing. 

Prior to Toni’s arrival, David – donning a maroon sweatsuit – was seen making a call on his cellphone outside the hospital. 

An ambulance was captured arriving to the Los Angeles area hospital with sirens blaring and lights flashing.

It pulled into a designated parking space, but it remains unknown if the ambulance belonged to Tamar.  

On Thursday night, Braxton was staying with boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz Carlton in downtown LA when he found her ‘unresponsive’.

The Blast reported that David called 911 saying that Tamar had been drinking and had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills.

The site adds: ‘Ambulances then arrived at the hotel and took her to the hospital. Sources have claimed that David believes that it was possible suicide attempt.’

The LAPD confirmed to The Blast that they had received a call around 9:45pm, reporting that a female had a medical emergency listed as a ‘possible overdose.’ 

A spokesperson for Tamar said: ‘Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her.’ 

Her YouTube show that she stars in with David is called Coupled & Quarantined ad had been scheduled to air on Thursday night.

Instead, a message read:  ‘Hello Ya’ll Unfortunately, Your girl Tamar is under the weather today and not feeling well so we need to postpone today’s show (Don’t worry it’s not Covid).

‘We’re sad because we had a great show lined up for you today, but next week’s show is going to be even bigger and better. 

‘So sorry for the inconvenience, we know many of you look forward to the show every week. we’ll make it up to you next week.’

Tamar also has a brand new reality TV show.

The sister of chart-topping singer Toni Braxton is the star of To Catch A Beautician for VH1, according to a Monday report from Variety. The series debuted on May 25. 

The set up of the show is how clients confront the hair stylists that ruined their mane.Then Wright retrains the stylist and lets them redo the clients’ hair again.
