She recently revealed her battle with cystic acne shattered her confidence.

Oozing confidence, the actress appeared to be make-up free while shielding her eyes with a classic pair of shades.

Lili captioned the snap: ‘My daughter @elsie took this,’ tagging her best friend Elsie Hewitt.

Lili recently admitted she used to let a breakout ‘debilitate’ her and would feel so ashamed she would hide behind a baseball cap and do make-up in the dark.

However, the actress said she is coming accustomed to accepting her skin, facial scars and flare-ups as lockdown has allowed her to not hide behind heavy layers of make-up.

‘Sometimes, skin struggles and breakouts are inevitable. So, instead of trying to control your skin it’s more important to focus on your outlook’, she told Marie Claire.

‘I used to let a breakout debilitate me. I wouldn’t leave the house because I was so ashamed and would wear a baseball cap to cover my face if I did have to go somewhere.

‘I would even avoid mirrors. It used to be really awful because my attitude about my skin was awful. No one cares about your acne except for you.’

The actress said she has gone from wearing lots of make-up to none during lockdown.

The star told the publication she has embraced her skin for what it is and now feels Iike she doesn’t have to cover up her facial scarring.

The actress has previously spoken about her struggles with acne, and in an interview with Teen Vogue, she revealed she started getting the spots at a young age.

‘Every time I have a big cystic pimple or something, it very much triggers that part of me where I don’t want to look at myself in the mirror. It’s hard to take pictures of myself, I don’t want to go out in public, and I want to hide my face,’ she said.

‘But, as I’ve got older, it’s a matter of realising that I can’t let a pimple on my face decide what I do and where I go.’
