Jeff Goldblum says Jurassic World set has 109-page safety notes

When Oscar nominee Jeff Goldblum flies to England ‘in a week and a half’ to film Jurassic World: Dominion, he and the crew must adhere to a ‘109-page list’ of safety protocols.

‘There are protocols galore. We’re going to be very safe, I think,’ the Pennsylvania-born 67-year-old explained to ET on Wednesday.

‘They gave us 109 pages. They invested all their heart and soul, and a lot of money, into making sure that we’re safe. I won’t bore you with the details, but we’re all going to be quarantined in a kind of a bubble, all the crew and all the cast. And testing and everything…We know it’s a risky time, but we feel it’s good.’

Universal Pictures has reportedly spent $5M for the Pinewood Studios set to have a drive-thru COVID-19 test facility (testing three times a week), walk-thru temperature testing stations, 150 hand sanitizer stations, and an on-site medical facility.

‘I’m confident our guidelines will keep us safe,’ director Colin Trevorrow told Empire last week.

‘The hard part will be constructing a creative environment within all the precautions. Once the cameras roll, we have to forget our world and live in the world of the movie. That may take some practice.’

Universal Pictures blasted The Sun’s report that ‘several of the crew tested positive on the first day back [July 6]’ as ‘categorically untrue’ to Variety.

‘We’re going, otherwise we wouldn’t see Jeff for three and a half months,’ the French-Canadian 37-year-old told ET.

‘As a mother, you’re thinking, “Well, like, school’s starting in the fall, Charlie will be starting kindergarten.” But [it’s] seeming like everything is going in the direction of remote anyway, and I felt like we would be safer being in just like this small bubble and not having any sort of temptation to get out…Now we’ll be with Jeff and we get to support him and we get to spend family time when he’s not working.’
