‘Nice girls finish last’: Bachelor in Paradise fans rally around star Brittney Weldon as she breaks down in tears saying she ‘struggles to find love’ after a brutal rejection by Jamie Doran
Bachelor in Paradise star Brittney Weldon had a complete meltdown after a brutal rejection by Jamie Doran on Thursday night.
The 26-year-old fought back tears as she spoke of her struggle to find love on the show and in life – claiming she always struggles to get past the first date.
But it saw Twitter erupt with viewers of the show say they could relate to the experience of the bubbly brunette.

‘Depressing tweet by Brittney never going beyond a first date is something I wholeheartedly understand,’ they wrote.
Another viewer added they had a similar experience: ‘A rare gem who deserves love and respect. Bachelor in Paradise is not really the place to find either.’
Yet another wrote: ‘Feeling Brittney’s pain. Nice girls finish last.’
‘I know I’m out there. I know I’m crazy. And I know I have fun. But, like, you know, I am looking for someone,’ she said, clearly emotional.
‘That’s why I’m here for the third time.’
She said she has tried a number of times but with no success with men.
‘It’s not even about Paradise. It’s just about love in general. I’ve never been past the first date in so long, like, I don’t know what it, like, it feels for someone to like me.’
She said it’s sad as she deserves love too.’I feel like I could give so much. Everyone deserves love, but then it’s just like me in the corner again, alone.
‘Like, I just…I’m here because I really want that.’
She added she felt like a fool for putting herself out there: ‘It’s day two and I feel like a fool. But I just feel like I’m doing this for the third time and still I’ve got nothing.’
The breakdown happened after she failed to vibe with Jamie, while putting it out there to possibly couple up with him.
Jamie quickly friend-zoned the bubbly brunette.
‘It is difficult because I don’t see any romantic interest with Brittney,’ he said.
‘I think she’s amazing, but I don’t want to see her heart get broken again. So I’m just trying to do the right thing.’
Jamie continued: ‘Oh, I don’t know, like, I feel like I’m not… Like, how do you feel? Like, what do you feel? Like, I just feel like I’m not vibing on that level.’
Viewers rallied around Brittney following the admission.
