DJ Steve Aoki surprises a 12-year-old fan with a brand new DJ set in heartwarming Zoom call 

Steve Aoki gave one of his biggest fans the surprise of her life as he gifted her with a brand new DJ set.

The A-list DJ, 42, teamed up with the Kids Wish Network to give the gift to his 12-year-old fan Juliana Goode, who is an aspiring DJ and sees Steve as her inspiration. 

Juliana suffers from Cushing syndrome, a condition caused by having too much of the hormone cortisol in the body with symptoms including skin that bruises easily and weakness in the upper arms and thighs.

Steve surprised Juliana by video link and revealed he had arranged for her to be given her own DJ set. 

The producer asked Juliana how she makes her music, to which she said she uses her computer.

Steve replied: ‘Do you have a DJ set up at all? Something a bit bigger than your computer? 

‘Cause you know you’re going to need one if you’re going to be a big DJ. Me and my friends have a present for you.’ 

Juliana screamed with excitement when she was taken into her living room and saw the DJ set waiting for her. 

‘Oh my god! I got speakers too! Thank you so much,’ she said, before she quickly got behind the decks and started practicing. 

Aoki previously surprised another fan last November when he invited a six-year old boy named Jamar A.K.A. DJ Masterpiece and his family to his home in Las Vegas.

During their day together, Aoki was so impressed with his passion for music that he decided to buy him his own piano and music lessons.

‘He’s a little star actually. He’s a talented kids I can tell,’ the California native said with conviction when asked about their encounter by a TMZ photographer at LAX Airport.

Aoki is convinced Jamar will become the next big producer, saying: ‘When you’re that young and you are magnetically drawn to instruments, it’s just bound to happen.’
