Demi’s signature long raven tresses are still perfectly intact, however, her look in the utopian drama is just a wig.

The actress appears as Linda in the promotional image with her frizzy blonde locks parted to one side and little makeup on.

Linda looks dressed for bed with Demi donning a creamy colored nightgown with a lacy bodice and a sheer printed aqua robe on top.

The new series is based on the 1932 novel of the same name by British author Aldous Huxley and stars Demi Moore, Alden Ehrenreich, Jessica Brown Findlay, Harry Lloyd and Hannah John-Kamen.

Last month, Peacock dropped the official trailer giving fans their first look at Huxley’s Utopian society, New London.

The residents of New London are all living in a chemical induced state of bliss aided by capsules that appear to produce a sense of euphoria and calmness and some creepy looking contact lenses that connect the inhabitants together.

Demi’s recurring character Linda urges the protagonist John the Savage, played by Alden Ehrenreich, to leave the Savage Lands for a better life in New London.

The plot centers on John who meets two people from the New World, Bernard and Lenina, while they are visiting the Savage Lands.

When he rescues the pair during a conflict he ends up going with them into New London.

Things, however, are not what they seem in the artificial Eden and the series will follow the slow breakdown of the Utopia now that John is among them.

The show received a series of tepid reviews from critics, with the New York Times calling it ‘neither brave, nor new’ in it’s headline, adding in the longer piece that the show that the reviewer found the show ‘dull, generic and padded.’

Other reviews panned the show for taking far too many departures from the iconic source material and then having those new-takes fall totally flat.

Brave New World officially dropped Wednesday, the same day that the Peacock platform launched wide.

The free streaming service also offers paid premier tiers (with a seven day free trial) but the bulk of its content is available free with ads.
