Abbie Chatfield reveals weird beauty mishap which left her in pain trying to ‘breathe’ on Bachelor

A girl always wants to look her best when they go on a date with a new beau.

But on Tuesday, Abbie Chatfield revealed the bizarre beauty mishap she suffered while dating The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew on the show last year.

The 25-year-old recalled how she had her teeth whitened, but the procedure went horribly wrong and left her in pain and trying to breathe.

Ouch! Abbie Chatfield has revealed the weird beauty mishap which left her in pain and trying to ‘breathe’ as she smiled her way through a group date with Matt Agnew on The Bachelor last year

‘I got teeth whitening stuff and I overused it,’ she confessed, while speaking on her podcast, It’s a Lot.

‘Yes my teeth were white but they hurt- so so so much,’ she added.

To make matters worse, the same day Abbie burned her teeth, she had to grin and bear it through a date with Matt and five other women.

‘There was one date- the painting date, where it hurt to just breath,’ she confessed.

This explanation certainly explains the bizarre self-portrait Abbie painted on the date, which shows off her massive pearly whites.

‘Just a warning, you might have nightmares,’ Abbie said, before unveiling the twisted piece to Matt, revealing she called it ‘unhinged’.

Abbie’s artwork left her co-stars in stitches, with Emma Roche calling it ‘f***ing terrifying’.

Meanwhile on Monday, Abbie had a beauty treatment she was very happy with and debuted her brand new nose on Instagram.

The reality star underwent a non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure, which involves injecting dermal filler to re-shape the nose.

In another post, she told fans: ‘Okay I wasn’t going to post anything because I didn’t want the DMs saying “YOU DIDN’T NEED IT YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL” buuuuut… I just got a non-surgical rhinoplasty.’

Abbie, who had travelled to Sydney from the Gold Coast for the procedure, went on to praise her Double Bay doctor for his work.

She continued to express her delight in a video taken on the street outside the clinic.

Speaking to the camera, Abbie said: ‘This is my nose. I feel like I’m wearing a beauty filter… I wanted to get a full rhinoplasty; I’ve hated my nose for a while now – the hook, the bump… and this is just life-changing!’

The social media influencer admitted she had ‘cried from joy’ and even hugged the doctor after seeing the results.

‘I used to not get photos from this angle,’ Abbie said, turning her head to one side to reveal her perfect profile.

‘I don’t know if you’ve noticed. It was always this side, because this is my good side,’ she added, turning her head to the other side.

‘But now I can get photos on either side! I’m so happy!’

During a subsequent Instagram Q&A with fans, Abbie clarified how much money she had spent on the procedure.

‘It was $990. The consult was $290 – that was taken off the final price – so I paid $700 today and I pre-paid $290,’ she said, adding that the dermal filler will last about nine months before it dissolves.
