Big Brother’s ultimate betrayal: Sophie Budack is evicted despite ‘top four pact’

Big Brother’s ultimate betrayal: Sophie Budack is evicted despite her ‘top four pact’ – as she plots her revenge with Kieran Davidson in the White Room

Sophie Budack formed a secret alliance with three other Big Brother housemates to secure her place in the final four.

But on Tuesday night, the former gymnast was evicted in a shock blindside.

Daniel Gorringe and Mat Garrick, the show’s ‘alpha players’, betrayed Sophie’s trust by voting her out to improve their own chances of winning.

Sophie and her boyfriend, Chad Hurst, were furious at the betrayal, as they had both refused to nominate Daniel or Mat for elimination due to their partnership.

The doomed alliance had been formed days earlier, when the game was temporarily paused due to a COVID-19 scare on set. Daniel approached Sophie and Chad and asked if they wanted to secure a ‘top-four pact’ with Mat.

‘Start cutting deals? Us four until as long as we can?’ Dan pitched to Chad and Sophie at the time.

The couple agreed to work with Dan and Mat, without telling the other housemates.

'I knew it was coming, but it still hurts': Despite their agreement, Sophie grew suspicious of the two 'alphas' and her worst fears were realised when she was sent packing

Despite their agreement, Sophie grew suspicious of the two ‘alphas’ and her worst fears were realised when she was sent packing.

‘I knew it was coming, but it still hurts,’ Sophie said.

Chad added: ‘I got bloody played. Me and Soph had so many opportunities to take them out. We carried them to the top four and then we get blindsided.’

As she was leaving the house, Sophie was stopped by Big Brother and invited to join fellow evictee Kieran Davidson in the White Room.
