Big Brother Australia favourites could return for an all-stars season next year

Big Brother favourites from the show’s golden years ‘will return for an all-stars season in 2021’ – including Sara-Marie Fedele, Reggie Bird and Tully Smyth

Big Brother Australia’s most beloved stars could be returning to the franchise for an all-stars season next year.

According to New Idea, next year’s series on Channel Seven could be a ‘veterans versus newcomers’ competition, similar to Australian Survivor.

‘There’s an idea floating around… if it comes to fruition, the season will have a Survivor Champions vs Contenders vibe – a mix of old and new faces,’ an insider told the publication.

While the claims are merely speculation at this stage, the magazine did name several former Big Brother contestants who could potentially return to the show.

Season one star Sara-Marie Fedele and season 10 star Tully Smyth were named, alongside recently-divorced couple Jess Hardy and Nathan ‘Marty’ Martin, who found fame on season two.

Season three winner Reggie Bird was also named as a possible ‘all-star’ housemate.

The idea of an all-stars season has already been suggested by Reggie, who told Now To Love last week: ‘I’d love to go back into the house with past housemates.’

‘I think the true-blue, die-hard Big Brother fans would love to see that happen,’ the mother of two added.

The rumours come weeks after Seven announced casting had already begun for the next season of Big Brother.
