X-Men: Days Of Future Past becomes first live-action film in franchise on Disney+ …with nudity and profanity UNCENSORED

X-Men: Days Of Future Past has arrived on Disney+, becoming the first live-action movie in its franchise to do so.

The streamer has declined to censored either the profanity or the nudity contained in the film, which is rated PG-13.

At one point Hugh Jackman’s character Wolverine bares his derriere, and at another point he is told by James McAvoy’s Professor X to ‘F*** off.’

Both instances of adult content were allowed to remain in the 2014 movie when it debuted on Disney+ this Friday.

In past instances Disney+ has been stricter about regulating profanity on the website, in keeping with the company’s family-friendly brand.

Nudity has also been a sticking point previously, with the A.V. Club noting that the film Splash originally showed Daryl Hannah’s bare rear, but that in the Disney+ version her hair was digitally lengthened to protect her modesty.

For example when a filmed recording of the Broadway musical Hamilton premiered on the platform last Friday the swearwords were muted.

Although Disney owns the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the X-Men franchise was previously held by Fox so its films have not yet all wound up on Disney+.

However, the 2001 film X-Men, as well as X-Men: Apocalypse and The Wolverine, are slated to follow Days Of Future Past onto the website, Complex reports.

Incoming: From next Friday onward Disney+ will also include X:Men: Apocalypse, in which Michael Fassbender as Magneto says: 'Who the f*** are you?'

X-Men: Apocalypse, the direct 2016 sequel to X-Men: Days Of Future Past, features Michael Fassbender as Magneto saying: ‘Who the f*** are you?’

Although X-Men: Apocalypse will be available on Disney+ starting next Friday, The Wolverine will not appear until September 4, the Nerdist reports.

There has been no public word from the streaming service about whether the swearword in X-Men: Apocalypse will be included in the streaming version.
