Sophie Monk purchases a $2.25M luxurious Hamptons inspired acreage on the Central Coast

Earlier this week she listed her $1.1 million palatial Gold Coast love nest for rent.

And on Sunday, it was revealed Sophie Monk has purchased a $2.25million luxurious Hamptons inspired acreage on the NSW Central Coast.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the former Bardot singer has secured herself a three-bedroom, two-bathroom 8000sqm residence in Matcham.

The timelessly designed residence features an outdoor pool and is surrounded by stunning sun-drenched gardens.

The property is a short drive from a selection of divine beaches and offers the reality star plenty of privacy.

The Matcham estate features a large open living room which features a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf.

It features a luxury master bedroom with ensuite and a walk-in wardrobe, and even it’s own home theatre and electric fireplace.

There is a large open kitchen with marble table tops for the star, who happens to be the face of delivery food service, Hello Fresh.

It also features an entertaining outdoor area complete with a fireplace and a built-in pizza oven. 

Sophie’s move to Matcham, 88kms North of Sydney comes as a surprise to many.

Earlier this week reports suggested the star was planning to relocate back to Sydney, where she resided after a decade of living in Los Angeles.

Her boyfriend Joshua, 41, who is an entrepreneur and specialises in neurosurgical robotics, will no doubt be making the move with her.

On Wednesday, it was revealed the Love Island Australia host is looking for full-time tenants to live in her Gold Coast home.

Sophie listed the property, where she was living during the COVID-19 lockdown with her boyfriend Joshua Gross, last week for $1,200-a-week. 

The former Bardot singer bought the property in April 2016 after speaking at lengths about her desire to ‘settle down’.
