She moved to the States with her family in 2014 in a bid to live out the American dream.

And it appears that Patsy Palmer is still loving live in the USA as she flashed a broad smile while walking her dogs with husband Richard Merkell in Malibu, California on Friday.

The former EastEnders actress, 48, cut a casual figure as she strolled, donning a pale lilac T-shirt and loose-fitting black and white striped trousers.

Patsy, who played Bianca Jackson in the BBC soap, accessorised her relaxed look with a baseball cap, dark sunglasses and simple black flip-flops. 

Meanwhile, Richard, 55, kept things cool in a plain white T-shirt, stone coloured shorts and trainers.

The couple, who’ve been married for 20 years, appeared in good spirits away as they happily chatted away while walking their pooches. 

Patsy moved to the States six years ago with Richard and her three youngest kids Fenton, 20, Emilia, 19, and Bertie, nine.

And the family have been living the American dream ever since in their sprawling beachside abode with amazing views of the Pacific ocean.

In May, the actress-turned-DJ was surrounded by her loved ones as she celebrated her 48th birthday in lockdown, with her family treating her to an assortment of baked goods. 

The star then got the party started as she later enjoyed a fun-filled DJ session which saw her dancing around her living room. 

Patsy looked happier than ever as she marked her special day with her nearest and dearest as they gathered around the kitchen table to sing happy birthday to her.

The intimate affair saw Patsy presented with a plate of sweet treats including cupcakes, donuts and chocolate cake, which were lit up with candles.

The TV favourite looked delighted and flashed a broad smile as her loved ones sang and clapped around her.

She then enlisted her youngest child Bertie to help her blow out her candles.

Keeping things casual for the occasion, Patsy donned a white T-shirt with a good luck cat printed on it, while her famous auburn tresses were swept up into a loose topknot.

Patsy, who has carved out a career as a DJ in America, later showed off her skills as she enjoyed a DJ session in her living room.

She appeared to be having worlds of fun as she blasted out the tunes and showcased her moves, before joking that the Instagram music police were coming for her.
