Actor and director Joel Edgerton showed off his rugged good looks as he stripped off his wetsuit following a workout at Bondi Beach.
The 46-year-old Great Gatsby star braved the winter weather to head down for an early morning swim on Saturday.
Looking as though he was shaping up to take on an action man for his next role, Joel popped down to his local beach donning an orange and black triathlon wet suit from Orca worth $269.

Sporting a shaggy hairstyle and scruffy beard, Joel made his way into the surf, where he popped on a swim cap and goggles.
Joel completed a few stretches before he dived into the waves to go for a swim.
After his workout, Joel emerged from the water, his wetsuit clinging to his chest and taut bicep muscles.

The Star Wars actor seemed keen to flaunt the results of his hardcore workout regime, stripping off his shirt to reveal his hunky chest.
Last month, Joel celebrated his birthday with girlfriend Christine Centenera.
The Vogue Australia’s fashion director and her filmmaker beau were joined by a bevy of famous pals, including Pip Edwards, Sneaky Sound System singer Connie Mitchell and Double Rainbouu designer Mikey Nolan for the festivities.

The A-list crew, accompanied by Joel’s mother, Marianne Edgerton, headed out for an Italian feast at a restaurant in Sydney.
P.E Nation co-founder Pip, 40, shared several photos from the night to Instagram, with one of the images captioned: ‘Old friends are the BEST of friends’.
Joel and Christine recently spent two weeks in self-isolation after a trip to the Turks and Caicos.

Enjoying his freedom: Joel no doubt enjoyed being able to take in some exercise and fresh air after being forced to quarantine for two weeks earlier this year after returning from an overseas trip
On March 17, Joel returned to Australia and spent two weeks in mandatory self-isolation which ended on April 1.
The couple arrived before the government ruled that Australians returning from overseas must spend their two-week quarantine period under supervision in hotels so were allowed to self-isolate at home.
The pair had spent time at the Amanyara beach resort, which sits by the Caribbean island of Providenciales.
