Hollyoaks star Jodi Albert has revealed she’s qualified as a yoga teacher.
The actress, 36, took to Instagram to reveal she’d completed a 14-week course to teach a variety of yoga poses, gushing that she’s grateful ‘for the light it’s brought in such a dark world.’
Jodi quit her role as Debbie Dean on Hollyoaks in 2005 and was a member of the British group Girl Thing during her teenage years.

In the post Jodi proudly displayed her certificate after completing the training course, writing: ‘ So happy to receive my qualification as a certified Yoga Teacherthis morning!!!

Jodi first rose to prominence as a member of the group Girl Thing, and even had a top 10 single with Last One Standing, and they came back together in 2014 for the second series of The Big Reunion.
She then played Debbie on Hollyoaks from 2002 to 2005, with her character always set on becoming a famous singer.
But her time on the soap wasn’t without its heartbreak, as Debbie was left devastated when her on/off flame Dan Hunter was tragically killed days before he planned to propose to her.

Despite leaving the soap after three years, Jodi made several guest appearances, and went onto appear in Casualty and The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.
Jodi married Westlife singer Kian Egan in 2009, and they have three sons, Koa, eight, Zekey, five and Cobi, two.
In 2008 she also joined the Irish girl group Wonderland in partnership with Louis Walsh.
