Phoebe Burgess is known for her primped persona.
But on Friday, the 31-year-old proved she’s just like the rest of us, and on occasion suffers from a fake tan fail.
In an exchange with an Instagram follower, the mother-of-two poked fun of her beauty mishap as she showed off a rather dark foot in family photos.

Phoebe sported a beige sweater, cropped light blue jeans and brown slip-on shoes as she posed for photos outside her family’s home in the Southern Highlands.
Crouching down in the images, the influencer drew attention to her foot which appeared a few shades darker than her leg.
When a follower commented ‘fake tan feet’, Phoebe had the last laugh, responding alongside two laughing face emojis: ‘Yup. Shocker. I don’t bother tanning my legs. The ankles and feet get special treatment.’
Phoebe has been hunkering down at her family’s estate with her two children: daughter Poppy, three, and son Billy, one.

The entrepreneur shares her children with ex-husband, retired NRL player Sam Burgess, 31.
Phoebe and Sam wed in 2015. They split for a second time in October last year, after initially separating in December 2018.
Sam reportedly moved out of their $3.8million home in Sydney’s Maroubra towards the end of September 2019.

Phoebe became emotional while discussing the harsh realities of life as a single mother on The Morning Show last month.
‘There’s not makeup every day, it’s not glam being a single mum,’ she told hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies.
‘I do have help [from] their grandparents. My parents are amazing,’ Phoebe said, appearing to hold back tears.
Phoebe explained that she tries to be honest with her followers about life as a single parent, insisting: ‘I don’t like to portray a perfect scenario. It’s not perfect.’
