Abi Tucker reemerges with a new look almost three decades after Heartbreak High

Heartbreak High actress Abi Tucker resurfaces on Australian TV almost three decades after finding fame – and you’ll NEVER guess what she looks like now

She rose to fame playing Jodie Cooper in the classic teen drama Heartbreak High.

And on Friday, Abi Tucker made a rare TV appearance when she spoke to Channel Nine’s Today Extra about a possible reboot of the ABC series.

The 47-year-old actress looks very different these days compared to the character she played from 1994 to 1995.

Instead of her long blonde hair, Abi now sports a stylish brunette bob.

But some things never change, as she still sports the signature dark eye makeup that her character was known for.

Abi starred in Heartbreak High’s first three seasons before leaving to focus on her music career.

After recording music in London, Abi returned to Australia to continue acting, and eventually made a comeback in the blockbuster comedy The Wog Boy.

Her career continued to go from strength to strength after she joined The Secret Life of Us in 2001 for three seasons.

She enjoyed more success in the years to come, including a major role on McLeod’s Daughters.

Abi now works as a presenter on Play School, which she has done since 2009.

While talk of a Heartbreak High reboot is still ongoing, Abi could also potentially return to TV in a revived series of The Secret Life of Us.

Back in March, Claudia Karvan, who also starred in the Channel 10 series, said that she would love to see the cast reunite for a fifth season.

‘The show was really refreshing, so honest and direct. It was a bit of a ground-breaker,’ she told the Daily Telegraph.
