Christine Lampard had a big smile on her face when she had her car cleaned on Thursday following months of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

The Loose Women star, 41, was laden with her family’s coats as she frantically cleared out her vehicle so that the mobile valet team could get to work. 

Christine looked incredible in her casual and chic ensemble which consisted of skinny jeans and a brown waterfall hem jacket.

She accessorised with a Chanel handbag and Golden Goose trainers.

She had a giggle with the man from the car valeting service, before grabbing a bottle of water and tipping it out to clean part of her door. 

Christine was solo on the day but did say that daughter Patricia, 21 months, who she shares with husband Frank, 42, has been very ‘clingy’ during lockdown.

On the topic of whether parents have gotten to know their children better during the past 14 weeks, the TV presenter said during a recent episode of Loose Women: ‘My little one is very clingy and has zero interest in socialising at all.’

The media personality enthused Patricia had become used to Frank’s presence during the lockdown, stating: ‘I have been her world. 

‘And in a great way, daddy has as well. We did have that nice period of her getting to know him and now he’s back at work.’

As Britain slowly gets back to normality, Christine said her only child is struggling to adjust to the pair returning to their careers.

She said: ‘I found it quite difficult I have to say. Even coming in today, it was like, “oh my gosh, you’re leaving me?” 

‘It’s difficult to negotiate with a two-year-old. She was very panicky almost.’  

The Northern Irish host and the former footballer tied the knot in December 2015, and they welcomed daughter Patricia in September 2018. 

Frank is also father to daughters Luna, 14, and Isla, 13, with his former fiancée Elen Rivas, 45.
