MasterChef fans were left shocked earlier this year when the discovered that fan-favourite Poh Ling Yeow was 47-years-old.
And it appears that the fountain of youth comes from incredible genes from her beloved mother, Christina.
Poh shared a photo of herself with Christine for Mother’s Day earlier this year, and admitted she seems to ‘look and sound’ more like her mum every day.

Everyday that passes I seem to look and sound more like u which is both scary and scary,’ she joked.
‘Although I didn’t appreciate it at the time, and most definitely a bit scarred from it, I’m so thankful for the fierceness with which you brought me up, for without it I wouldn’t be the resilient little bugger that I’ve become.’

Fans were quick to point out the similarities between Poh and her mother, with one user writing: ‘You definitely have your mum’s grin and laugh.’
On the family’s Instagram account, Fooding with The Yeows, there are several photos of Poh’s mother that highlight her youthful looks.
These include a collage of happy snaps celebrating her birthday several years ago and she is pictured in a sweet family photo.

Poh has previously said that she learnt most of her incredible baking skills from her mum.
‘On weekends Mum, who baked fiendishly, took painstaking care training me up on things like how to line a tin meticulously,’ she wrote in her book, ‘Poh Bakes 100 Greats’.
‘I remember as if it were yesterday, the moment that she taught me the invaluable skill of folding flour into batter, explaining why it had to be done ‘just like so’.’
Poh is currently competing on MasterChef: Back to Win on Channel 10.
