At the time, Elizabeth told 9 Honey that she uses hair extensions because she suffers from a Lupus-like auto-immune disease which causes sensitivity to sunlight.

‘Unfortunately the rash on my scalp and my ears is continuously photosensitivey. So the extensions do act like a hat in ways,’ she said.

Elizabeth was originally paired with Sam Ball in the Channel Nine social experiment but she returned to the show this year and was paired with former AFL player Sebastian Guilhaus.

The couple are still together and it was reported that they moved in with each other earlier this month.
