Joe Wicks ‘is set to become immortalised in wax as he gets his own figure at Madame Tussauds’

Joe Wicks is reportedly set to get his own waxwork at Madame Tussauds.

The Body Coach, 33, has seen his popularity soar during Britain’s lockdown as he helped to keep the nation fit with his online workouts.

The star also helped raise £500,000 for the NHS and according to The Sun, Madame Tussauds has taken notice.

A source told the publication: ‘Madame Tussauds is always monitoring which celebrities are popular and which aren’t. Joe is huge right now and at the very top of their list.’

‘It’s just a case of taking accurate measurements and seeing who can be moved out for more relevant stars like Joe.’

The London venue reviews its list of celebrity wax works annually and Joe is said to be a top contender for inclusion.

MailOnline has contacted Joe for comment.

If a wax figure of Joe is included, he will be joining the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Tom Hardy and Meghan Markle.

Earlier this year it was reported that Little Mix are also set to get their own wax works  after nine successful years in the music industry.

The move is said to have come from Jade Thirlwall after she complained that the band – also made up of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards – had ‘earned their place’.

A Madame Tussauds figure is said to take up to four months to make, with each one involving 20 artists and costing up to £200,000 to make.

It comes after Joe shared sweet photographs of himself with his daughter Indie, 18 months, and son Marley, 6 months, whom he shares with wife Rosie Jones, as he gushed about ‘unconditional love’ in heartfelt Father’s Day message.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: ‘Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there. The unconditional love we feel for our children is so special. Have a great day with your family.’

His adorable Father’s Day posts came after Joe announced he would be ending his daily P.E. with Joe online workout sessions.

Joe posted on Instagram on Monday to announce that this week marks the last full week of classes, after which he’ll be dropping down to three lessons a week.

As lockdown restrictions start to ease across the UK, Joe said he felt ‘very proud’ to have provided lessons five days a week for the past 13 weeks of lockdown, gaining 70million views worldwide.
