Zara McDermott is accused of editing her pout in selfie

Zara McDermott has been accused of editing her pictures. 

The Love Island beauty, 23, took to Instagram stories on Tuesday to bemoan suffering with hayfever and her subsequent ‘puffy face’, while also sharing a video and writing: ‘My lips are swollen for some reason as well’. 

The following morning, Zara shared a sizzling snap, under which a fan claimed she had used a filter on her ‘swollen’ lips – leading to Zara deleting the story and within an hour also deleting the comments from her eagle-eyed followers. 

Zara has previously denied having lip fillers and insisted she has ‘always had full lips’, yet fans refuted this claim after she shared the video on Tuesday. 

Alongside the video, the star penned: ‘My lips are swollen for some reason’. 

It seems Zara had uploaded the video with the name of a filter on top and later deleted the video shortly after the comments were left under a smouldering lingerie clad snap shared with her 1.4million followers on Wednesday. 

A fan queried: ‘If your lips were swollen yesterday why use a lip plumping filter’, while another responded: ‘Must of thought we can’t see the filter name at the top’. 

She went on to delete the musings from fans.  

When Zara entered the Love Island villa in 2018, she caused ructions on the outside world after fans swarmed her social media accounts to insist she has edited her images as they are so different to her on-screen appearance.

The government adviser’s entire Instagram feed is littered with smouldering images as she strips down to an array of saucy ensembles – however the comments sections was littered with accusations from eagle-eyed viewers at the time. 

She revealed in the past that she looks different in some images as she suffers with a medical condition that stops her wearing bras. 

In 2018, Zara responded to critics of one of her images writing:  ‘I can assure you this isn’t photoshopped at all. As I have said before and I will say again, my boobs are completely natural and I absolutely love them.

‘Although it can be annoying sometimes when in some outfits they look big and some they look small, and I can’t really wear a bra most of the time due to a medical reason, so hence why it depends on what outfit I’m wearing that the size can seem to fluctuate. 

Zara admitted she found it ‘frustrating’ to keep commenting on trolling posts and said online bullying ‘drives girls to getting plastic surgery when everyone is perfect the way they are’.

Away from her stunning selfies, last week Zara took to Instagram to inform her fans that she doesn’t drink alcohol during a Q and A about her fitness regime.

Asked about why she doesn’t drink alcohol, Zara said: ‘ I don’t drink. I don’t like the taste, I don’t like the feeling it gives me. I always end up feeling quite sick after one drink. I think it’s just because I don’t like the taste. It makes me want to vom.

She continued: ‘I started my weight loss journey training with weights and going quite heavy. It genuinely doesn’t bulk you up.’
