Samantha Armytage, 43, announced her engagement to boyfriend Richard Lavender, 60, on Sunday.
And as she prepares for her fairytale wedding, the Sunrise presenter is also gearing up to become stepmother to Richard’s two adult daughters, Sasha and Grace.

In 2018, the former couple were even pictured smiling together at Grace’s university graduation ceremony in Melbourne.
Like Samantha, Sasha appears to be fond of the spotlight. She is signed to Priscillas Model Management and already has an impressive portfolio.

In 2019, Samantha was pictured mingling with her future stepdaughters at an intimate family luncheon to celebrate Richard’s 60th birthday.
‘[The girls] don’t mind Sam,’ a source told Woman’s Day at the time. ‘But they don’t spend a lot of time with their father these days.’

Samantha has no children, but does own a Labrador Retriever named Banjo.
The Channel Seven host said in 2017 that she had always wanted children, but was also at peace with the idea of never becoming a mother.
‘Well, yes [I want kids], I’ve never made any secret of it. But I don’t know whether that is my path,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.
‘It would be nice but if it doesn’t happen then c’est la vie and if it does, it would be lovely.’
