Chris Pratt and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger are getting closer to welcoming their first child together.

And on Saturday the couple, who just celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this month, couldn’t resist showing their affection for each other when they went for a morning stroll along the streets of Santa Monica in Los Angeles.

For the most part, the pair held hands as they kept up a steady pace, stopping on occasion to share a hug or a smooch.

Their morning exercise routine has become a near daily occurrence since they went into lockdown mode when the coronavirus was deemed a pandemic in mid-March.

Keeping a safety first mentality, the couple both looked nearly unrecognizable by wearing protective masks along with sunglasses and baseball caps.

Schwarzenegger, 30, kept it sporty in black leggings and a black workout shirt over a sports bra and sneakers.

Her hubby, 40, opted for black shorts with a vintage, faded black Rolling Stones t-shirt and black sneakers.

The hug-fest usually happened when the couple stopped to wait for the street light to change and cross the street.

While waiting, Pratt showed off his flexibility by lifting up his right leg to use his foot to tap the crosswalk button, in a move to keep proper hygiene during these uncertain times.

Then they were back on their way, holding hands and chatting with each other.

More than once, when they weren’t close to anyone, they both pulled their masks down to get a breather, but they always had them back in place as soon as people got near them.

During an Instagram Live chat with Dr. Zelana Montminy this week, Schwarzenegger maintained she’s been doing ‘really, really well’ while in quarantine, in part, because of the help she has gotten from her family, who live close by.

She also gushed about Pratt, calling him a ‘wonderful husband’ since they tied-the-knot on June 8, 2019, in Montecito, California.

‘It’s been amazing having him home and also like very understanding about my need to like sanitize everything, have everyone wear masks all the time. So that’s been helpful,’ she said.

Pratt will soon be returning back to the set of his upcoming movie Jurassic World: Dominion. The film was cleared to resume filming in the U.K. starting the week of July 6, which will include ‘rigorous safety protocols’ to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy.
