Mötley Crüe reveals new 2021 dates for summer stadium tour with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett … after previous tour was delayed amid coronavirus lockdown

Mötley Crüe will rock on – next year.

The band behind hits such as Home Sweet Home, Dr. Feelgood and Kickstart My Heart announced on Thursday in an Instagram post that they have new dates after delaying the shows amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

The shows were to feature a loaded lineup including the Wild Side hitmakers – consisting of lead singer Vince Neill, 59, bassist Nikki Sixx, 61, guitarist Mick Mars, 69, and drummer Tommy Lee, 57 – as well as 80s staples such as Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Def Leppard and Poison.

Bassist Nikki Sixx posted a statement that read: ‘We are excited to share the new dates for the Stadium Tour. All tickets will be honored for the new dates. If you are a ticket holder and cannot make the new show, you will receive an email from your ticket provider or you can visit livenation.com/refund.’

He added, ‘We look forward to seeing you in 2021!’ with emojis of a heavy metal hand symbol and an explosion, along with the hashtags, #MötleyCrüe and #TheStadiumTour.

Singer Vince Neil took to social media and posted, ‘GREAT NEWS!!! ROCK AND ROLL IN 21! Our new stadium tour dates have been announced!! See you then!!’

The new dates will have the iconic 80s musical acts hit the road from June 19, 2021 in Nashville thru September 12, 2021 in San Diego.

The Vine beauty said she expected the tour was ‘going to be crazy’ and ‘bananas’ amid the band’s return to relevance with the 2019 Netflix film The Dirt, and the other big name bands taking the stage.

‘They’ve already sold out multiple cities and they just keep having to add more cities,’ she said. ‘It’s a huge tour. I mean, putting all of these powerful bands together and taking them on the road.

‘I can’t even imagine what’s going to happen. It’s going to insane.’
