But these wannabe photographs prove it’s hardly easy as they share the snaps that didn’t quite go to plan.
People from around the world revealed their failed attempts at wildlife photography on social media – and a selection have found their way onto the Facebook group C**p Wildlife Photography.
The best of the bunch were collated by Bored Panda, including a very vicious-looking emu trying to poke its head into a vehicle in Oregon.
Another enthusiast wanted to capture a sighting of a beautiful blue jay, but instead took a snap of a photobombing frog.
