Mama June has confessed that she was spending at least $2.5K a day on meth with her boyfriend Geno before she was arrested and re-entered rehab.

The 40-year-old reality star – real name June Shannon – made the shocking admission in the latest episode of Mama June: Family Crisis when talking about her drug habit to her 20-year-old daughter Pumpkin.

June admitted: ‘The only reason I sold the house, I was dead f***ing broke. Because you know, at that point, we was doing quite a bit. I mean, it was a couple ounces a day. Our habit was $2,500 a day, if not more.’

Dr Ish is then seen marveling at the confession, as there are 28 grams in an ounce, and points out: ‘If me or you did 2g we’d be done.’

June continued: ‘It wasn’t something that just started and, ‘oh my God, I started using drugs,’… You found out that I got busted. I got high because I wanted to. It’s not the first time I’ve ever done drugs.’

June has four daughters, by three different fathers, including Anna, 25, Jessica, 23, Lauryn, 20 and 14-year-old Alana.

She skipped out of a drug treatment facility last March, after getting arrested for using crack cocaine.

After June was arrested, Pumpkin was given legal guardianship over her youngest daughter, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson.

Pumpkin opened up to Entertainment Tonight about the situation last year, saying: ‘My mom has four kids. Three of us are grown and can take care of ourselves and can cook for ourselves and we all pay our own bills.’

‘N even though me n kids arent still seeing each other n its [been] very hard on all of us but i hope one day that will [change] as i want them to know i miss n love them very much.’

Elsewhere in the episode, June drew the line: ‘To me, inpatient is not something that I’m willing to do, because I don’t want to be cut off from everything. You can’t talk to somebody for two weeks. You can’t do this, you can’t do that.’

Ground rules: Her daughter then laid out some demands, telling June if she wants to see her family, she has to get a working phone, take a weekly drug test and do an inpatient rehab program

‘But I’m willing to do an outpatient thing,’ she offered, which turned out to be a compromise Pumpkin was willing to make.

She told her mom: ‘Literally, I’m not asking you to take giant f***ing leaps. What I’m telling you is, it’s either these three things or nothing at all… I mean, you don’t skip a f***ing day. It shows Alana that mama’s taking the effort and wants us around again.’

Crying for help: Pumpkin said: 'I really thought that I was gonna be mad if mama's drug test came back positive. But mama's reaction is showing me that she's basically crying for help'
