Arnold Schwarzenegger rides bike with his family after passing on Gold’s Gym workout over masks

Arnold Schwarzenegger enjoyed a bicycling outing with two of his kids, Christina, 28, and Patrick, 26, on Tuesday, after he passed on a workout at his longtime flagship gym over the wearing of face masks.

The ex-California Governor, 72, sported a thin white beard as he pedaled around the City of Angels with two of his adult kids on the overcast weekday.

The Hollywood action hero – who’s also father to daughter Katherine, 30, and son Christopher, 22, with ex-wife Maria Shriver, and son Joseph Baena, 22, with his former housekeeper Mildred Baena – rounded out his activewear ensemble with a black T-shirt, grey shorts and white sneakers with white socks.

Patrick kept warm in a grey top with shorts, athletic pants and orange sneakers, sporting a beard and a ballcap.

Christina wore sunglasses, a tie-dyed light swearer with black leggings and white shoes on the ride.  

The bodybuilding icon earlier Tuesday declined on getting in a workout at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California, as he was concerned about the lack of wearing masks on the floor of the famed fitness center.

The Terminator star – whose fame as a bodybuilder stemmed from the famous faculty, which is nicknamed ‘The Mecca,’ which reopened for the first time since the lockdown in California in March, was seen at the establishment, but did not enter, TMZ reported.

While the gym’s policy is in accordance with local and state COVID-19 guidelines, the standards didn’t sit well enough with Schwarzenegger.

According to the outlet, members are allowed to work out without their masks on, but must keep them on while in designated areas of the establishment.

Schwarzenegger, who has a deluxe home gym, will not work out at the Mecca until the rules are revised to force people to don the masks during workouts; or a vaccine is found, the outlet reported.
