The Voice coach Delta Goodrem was blasted by fans on Sunday after kicking off her heels and flaunting her filthy bare feet during the blind auditions.
And while some viewers were horrified by her grubby soles, which were dirty from walking on the studio floor, others were beyond delighted.
That’s because Delta’s feet actually have a cult following in the darker regions of the Internet, and she even has an online fan page dedicated to them.

The Innocent Eyes hitmaker has a glowing profile on foot fetish website WikiFeet, which she does not endorse and is likely not even aware of.
She has a five-star rating on the platform, meaning she has ‘gorgeous feet’.
The website is a compendium of photos and videos of Delta barefoot or wearing open-toed high heels, and includes screenshots of her on The Voice.
Meanwhile, Delta’s friend and radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson weighed in on the national conversation about her feet on Tuesday morning.

She said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show: ‘If you walk around barefoot, you’re going to get dirt on your feet!
‘She probably didn’t even realise. She’s probably embarrassed about it.’
It comes after Twitter went into a meltdown on Sunday night when Delta displayed her dirty bare feet during the blind auditions.

‘Can Delta Goodrem wash her feet before sticking them in a camera lens?’ one distressed fan wrote on Twitter.
‘Delta Goodrem’s feet tho…’ another added, alongside a string of vomiting emojis.
A third tweeted: ‘Maybe Delta Goodrem you should keep your feet on the ground.’

Delta was only too happy to put her feet on display while fighting with the other coaches over contestant Nathan Issac.
Nathan had left the judges breathless as he performed the song You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) by ’80s band Dead or Alive.
Boy George, himself a pop icon from that decade, was first to turn his chair and said that gave him the right to ‘speak first’.

‘I’m from the ’80s, and I knew Pete Burns [the late frontman of Dead or Alive] for a long time,’ he reasoned.
Fellow coach Kelly Rowland then sat beside Delta, and the two women kicked off their heels and placed their feet on a rest.
‘There’s some sort of weird foot fetish going on over here,’ George said.

The pair then worked together to fight for Nathan to join Delta’s team.
‘I really love your look,’ Kelly said. ‘I do like your voice a whole lot, and I’m hoping you’ll make the right decision to go with my lovely friend Delta Goodrem.’
Delta added: ‘I called in support because I felt like this was going to be a strong battle up against George and this ’80s connection right now!’
Despite their efforts, Nathan ended up choosing Boy George as his coach.
