Fergie joined thousands of protestors around the nation to attend Black Lives Matter demonstrations.

And she decided to get her son Axl, six, involved at a young age as they both marched with signs in hand.

The Black Eyes Peas singer shared a black and white video to her Instagram on Sunday as they joined the march.

‘It starts at home ♥️♥️ #BLM,’ the singer, born Stacey Ferguson, wrote in the caption of the video.

‘Racism must stop,’ read the sign she held. While her son’s read ‘I love black people.’

Fergie shares Axl with her ex-husband Josh Duhamel, who she was married to from 2009 until 2019.

The actor didn’t seem to be in attendance for the march which likely took place this weekend.

Fergie walked down neighborhood streets and busy crosswalks with the group for Black Lives Matter.

The group donned face masks and the coverings are required in public in Los Angeles as the coronavirus pandemic continues.

It was the latest in nearly three weeks of protests for BLM that erupted around the nation and other countries after the death of George Floyd in Minnesota police custody.

Last week, speaking out about the protests Fergie said ‘Thank you to all of the protestors who have stepped outside their homes during a global pandemic, come together with their communities, and stood up for change as the frontline against racial injustice.’

‘My unconditional allegiance is with all of you and with the entire #BlackLivesMatter movement,’ she continued. ‘Let’s continue pushing forward so that the children of this nation don’t have to live in fear.’

‘It’s a new time. It’s a new season,’ she wrote. ‘Let’s keep moving ahead for policy change!!!’
