Fans go wild over Reece Hignell’s ‘adorable’ outfit on MasterChef

He is becoming the favourite to take out the top spot on MasterChef: Back to Win.

And during Sunday night’s episode, Reece Hignell dressed to impress as he watched his co-stars compete in an immunity challenge.

The 28-year-old sent viewers into a frenzy over his stylish pink jumper and matching coloured patterned shorts.

‘What an outfit! Love it… and those legs!’ one viewer tweeted. ‘I’m cheerleading for your adorable outfit,’ another agreed.

‘I would love to wear Reece’s outfit,’ another person said. ‘Reece’s whole outfit is just screaming I’m a blessing!! Love him so much,’ one person wrote.

The 28-year-old fan favourite won an immunity challenge during Thursday’s episode, securing him the first spot in the show’s final eight.

Reece’s latest win has capped off a week of victories, with his co-star Khanh Ong branding it ‘Reece Week’.

On Tuesday, he won an intense pressure test, which saw him serve up a jungle curry without a recipe.

On Wednesday’s Mystery Box challenge, Reece impressed the judges with a smoked chocolate mousse. 

But it was Thursday night’s pumpkin curry that secured him a place in the top eight, leaving his competitors to battle it out for the remaining spots.

‘Two days ago with the jungle curry, did you think you would be standing here with immunity?’ asked judge Melissa Leong.

Following his win, one encouraging fan couldn’t help tweet: ‘Go Reece! No car for you.’

And as he left the kitchen, the ‘happy’ cook had a realisation: ‘Oh, my God, it is Reece week!’
