Colton Underwood is seen for the first time since his split from Cassie Randolph

He announced he had split from girlfriend, Cassie Randolph, last week. 

And Colton Underwood has been spotted for the first time out and about following his breakup. 

And perhaps not ready to cut all ties from his ex, the 28-year-old Bachelor alum was seen enjoying a run around Huntington Beach, the same town his ex lives in.

Colton dressed in a black T-shirt and shorts of the same color for the outing. 

He teamed the look with a pair of white socks and sneakers and ran while holding his phone in his hand. 

The reality star’s appearance comes after he announced earlier in the month that he had split from his chosen winner, Cassie Randolph. 

‘Its been a crazy few months to say the least, Cass and I have been doing a lot of self-reflecting,’ he began. 

‘Sometimes people are just meant to be friends – and that’s okay. We both have grown immensely and been through so much together – so this isn’t the end of our story, it’s the start of a whole new chapter for us.’

Cassie wrote on her own Instagram: ‘Colton and I have broken up, but have decided to remain a part of each other’s lives. With all that we have gone through, we have a special bond that will always be there.’ 

A source told Us Weekly the split was a long time coming: ‘Breaking up was not an easy decision for Colton and Cassie, but they believe it was the right decision at the end of the day.’ 

‘It was not something they did lightly. They had a number of conversations about their future beforehand. Now that all is said and done, they are starting a new chapter as friends.’

Colton and Cassie began dating in November of 2018 after meeting on The Bachelor. 

The beauty initially left the show after she said she didn’t reciprocate his feelings for her, but returned and continued their relationship off the show.
