‘Cat’s out of the bag!’ Married At First Sight’s Amanda Micallef locks lips with a brunette at an ENGAGEMENT party – but not all is as it seems
Amanda Micallef had her Facebook friends in a frenzy on Sunday, when she posted footage of herself locking lips with a brunette at an engagement party.
The Married At First Sight star had followers thinking she was engaged with the caption ‘cat’s out of the bag’.
However appearing on Thursday’s 2RRR 88.5FM’s Let’s Get Deep radio show, the 34-year-old explained that she was simply having a laugh, and is not in fact engaged.

‘Over the weekend I had my friend Grace’s 39th birthday which was a Vegas theme at her house,’ Amanda told co-hosts Belinda Joh and Michael El Bacha.
‘So as she was cutting the cake, once the knife hit the bottom, she had to kiss the closest person or chose to I should say, and she chose to kiss me on the lips.’
After sharing footage to Facebook of the pair kissing, alongside the caption ‘Happy engagement to my love, cat’s out of the bag’, fans soon assumed she was engaged.

Amanda went on to say that it’s important to ‘not take yourself too seriously’ and that ‘it’s always good to have a bit of a laugh as long as you’re not hurting anyone’.
