Josh Groban obtains restraining order against obsessed woman ordering her to stay away from singer and girlfriend
Josh Groban has obtained a temporary restraining order against an allegedly obsessed woman who he claimed has been harassing him since 2011 .
The 39-year-old singer was granted the court order Friday by a judge and it ordered the woman to stay 100 yards away from Groban, his family and his actress girlfriend Schuyler Helford, 29, according to an article Monday by TMZ.
Groban claimed in court documents that the woman has been constantly sending him texts, emails and direct messages since 2011 and in recent years has contacted his family and Helford.

The alleged messages were sexual and graphic in nature and were sent as recently as May.
Groban claimed that a Direct Message sent last month referenced his relationship with Helford, who he has been dating since 2017.
The message according to the court filing read: ‘You wanna try honoring the home we’re going to have children in by not f***ing other women in it’.
The woman also allegedly sent DMs to Groban on May 26 claiming she went to his house to leave gifts.

One message read: ‘Put on a little bit of makeup in case I got caught, also wore pants with a hole in the crotch for the same reasons.’
The Good Cop star said he met the woman in 2011 through a mutual Facebook friend and after flirting online made plans to meet, but he canceled due to sickness. Groban claimed immediately after the missed meeting that she kept pestering him, so he told her they couldn’t ever meet.
The Tony Award winner said the woman until this year had limited her efforts to public areas where he’s either staying or performing and his security has intercepted her in the past to have her removed.

Groban claimed that he received a package from her at his home in early May that included a small skull, a flower and a book with handwritten notes that were overtly sexual in nature while making clear she would never stop.
The Los Angeles native previously dated January Jones, 42, from 2003 to 2006 and Kat Dennings, 33, from 2014 to 2016.
