David Campbell adopted a female rescue dog, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, one year ago after a terrifying home break-in.

And in his column for The Sunday Telegraph’s Stellar magazine, the Today Extra host revealed how adorable pup Scully has made an impact on his family.

‘We are so lucky to have Scully. We have been healed and made whole as a family in ways I never knew we needed,’ the 46-year-old wrote.
