Jedward show solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement as they join Los Angeles protest whilst isolating in the States with Tara Reid

Jedward showed their solidarity for the Black Lives Matter movement on Tuesday as they joined protesters in Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles.

The Irish pop star twins, 28, shared a video on their Twitter account where they were seen joining hordes of marching Americans making their voices heard amid the killing of black man George Floyd at the hands of a white cop.

It comes as the brothers, real names John and Edward Grimes, have been isolating with actress pal Tara Reid at her LA home.

Documenting their support for the movement on their social media, the twins shared several clips of themselves joining in the peaceful protests in the Californian city.

The pair, who shot to fame on the sixth series of X Factor in 2009, were seen wearing white face masks as they chanted out ‘Black Lives Matter’ in unison with the crowds.

In one clip, the singer could be seen on top of a car and holding up a placard which read ‘Black Lives Matter’ while repeatedly chanting ‘No justice, no peace’.

The pair further showed support for the cause as they previously tweeted: ‘In each others arms we’ll find peace. It’s what’s on the inside that counts. #BlackLivesMatter.’

While another message read: ‘There should be no more hurt. Keep making your voices heard. Together we stand united. Enough is Enough! #BlackLivesMatter.’
