Channel Seven has given Big Brother Australia fans a glimpse of the show’s brand-new, purpose-built warehouse ahead of the series premiere on June 8.
New photos of the Big Brother house at North Head in the Sydney suburb of Manly reveal neon-lit interiors, an outdoor swimming pool and a purpose-built games arena.

Most of the action will take place inside the lounge room, which has been fitted out with huge grey couches, sustainable plantation timber wall panels and a futuristic pendant light.
A large, flat-screen TV looms over the couches, and will serve as a way for Big Brother to communicate with the housemates.
Another key area this season will be the evictions room, which is where the housemates will select who they want to be eliminated from the competition.

The ‘green room’ is an other striking space within the Big Brother house.
This chill-out area will be used by the housemates as a place to unwind and get to know each other better.

Many aspects of the house have been informed by ecological sustainability, and this is certainly demonstrated in the green room’s decor.

The room has been organised with two rows of beds facing each other, perhaps a way to ensure that any late-night romance doesn’t go unseen by other housemates.

The famous diary room where individual contestants can speak privately with Big Brother has also been unveiled.
A striking shell-shaped couch is positioned on a raised platform in the centre of the room, while the walls are illuminated with neon purple and pink lights.

Throughout the Big Brother house are 65 cameras including GoPros as well as purpose built set cameras.
Channel Seven has revealed more than 53,000 people applied to be on the new Big Brother and over 100 crew members have worked on the series.

The show was pre-recorded throughout February and March in Sydney, and will have no public vote until the finale, which is believed to be the only live episode.
It will be hosted by Sonia Kruger and the age of the 20 housemates ranges from 19 to 61 years old.
The contestants consist of semi-famous influencers, aspiring actors, rural farmers as well as busy mums looking for a break.
