Police called to the home of Steve ‘Commando’ Willis for ‘breach of social distancing’

Police were called to the Sydney home of Steve ‘Commando’ Willis on Sunday after the woman he accuses of stalking him reported him over a supposed breach of social distancing rules.

The 43-year-old had allegedly led a training session at a park in Sydney’s north-west in which the participants had not been sufficiently spaced apart.

A spokesperson for Willis told The Daily Telegraph that officers had been called to the former Biggest Loser star’s home ‘regarding a reported breach of social distancing’ but he denied any wrongdoing.

‘He confirmed with local police that he was operating as per current regulations,’ the spokesperson continued.

They went on to claim that police had been called ‘because [Willis] had made a formal complaint to them about a woman identified as “Margaret”‘.

The woman is a former client who has been embroiled in an ongoing dispute with Willis over ‘unpaid fees’ the trainer claims she owes.

‘Steve has been in contact with the police again today regarding ongoing stalking from Margaret. We are in the process of seeking appropriate legal measures against her,’ the spokesperson added.

A NSW Police representative told Daily Mail Australia: ‘About 1pm today [Sunday], an officer from The Hills Police Area Command attended a home in Beaumont Hills, following reports a woman was seen in the area.

‘Police spoke to the occupant to discuss any possible further action. However no further information is available at this time.’

In a statement to The Daily Telegraph, a spokesman for the former Biggest Loser trainer explained: 'Steve was contacted (by police) on Saturday regarding a reported breach of social distancing. He confirmed with local police that he was operating as per current regulations'

Margaret told The Daily Telegraph she had reported Willis for ‘breaching social distancing rules at his classes’ but denied she had been ‘stalking’ him.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Steve ‘Commando’ Willis for further comment.

Last Sunday, Margaret was filmed getting into a heated argument with the celebrity coach at a park in Sydney’s north-west over alleged outstanding fees.

Margaret claims she doesn’t owe the former Biggest Loser star the $1,350 he’s asking for.

Video footage went viral showing Willis and his new girlfriend, F45 trainer Harika Vancuylenberg, getting into a confrontation with his former client.

Margaret was filmed approaching Willis and Vancuylenberg as they packed equipment into their car following a group fitness session.

‘You are not engaging with him. You pay him what you owe him,’ Vancuylenberg screamed at Margaret in the footage.

‘No money, no talking! He has told you $1,300. That is what you owe him.’

Margaret responded: ‘If you don’t agree we can go to court, because I have the record that I paid you.’

Margaret – who wished for her last name not to be published – insisted she had already paid Willis, who has been training her since April last year and provided Daily Mail with Instagram messages.

‘Until this is done there will be no further training,’ Willis wrote in one message.

The back and forth between the pair continued, before Margaret asked Willis to meet up with her face to face to pay him in cash.

‘No Margaret – you have one hour to transfer the money,’ he said.

Margaret responded: ‘I didn’t say or mean I’m not paying you – you just get angry and [run] away.’

Margaret, who saw Willis two to four times a week since last April, claims she paid Willis in cash at the start of every session.

In messages to Margaret on May 20, Willis claimed she owed him for two $200 for each personal training session on April 17, and April 21, May 1, May 4 and May 5.

Margaret continued to ask to meet up with Willis in person to pay him in cash, but Willis insisted she simply bank transfer the unpaid money and call it a day.

Margaret said the public spat had broken out shortly after she drove to the public reserve to confront Willis about the payments.

‘When I parked my car in the car park and still in the car, Harika sent her two kids, a boy and a girl, to come around my car to check me,’ she claimed.

‘There was nobody else around my parking spot so it was very obvious. I didn’t want to get involved with any kids. So I drove off to get a coffee.

‘When I came back I parked in a different spot, I saw in my mirror that Harika came to the rear of my car and started to take photos of me when I was sitting inside.’

Margaret said this is when the confrontation was sparked, before she pulled her phone out to film the incident.

Margaret was filmed insisting to the couple that she had paid what she owed Willis.

‘No, I paid him. I have record,’ she said as she filmed the dispute.

‘This is my business. Go away,’ Willis said as he attempted to end the exchange.

Vancuylenberg told Margaret that Willis would take legal action.

‘We don’t want you in our lives, okay? Pay him what you owe otherwise I will take you to court myself for harassment,’ she said.

Vancuylenberg then claimed she had caught Margaret taking photos of her while working out at the gym, which she denied.

‘You’re showing up here in my business, go away. Margaret, get out of my face,’ Willis said.

The tense argument lasted for over two minutes until Willis and his girlfriend got into their car.

Willis is yet to confirm his relationship with Vancuylenberg, who works as a trainer at popular fitness franchise F45.

They were recently pictured holding hands in Sydney, following his break-up with fellow celebrity trainer Michelle Bridges in December after eight years of dating.

It has been reported the pair met in November on a fitness retreat in Tahiti, but did not start dating until February, after he’d split from Bridges.
